# Link X

> Connect an X account to Overlap for publishing and analytics.

> You can connect the X account you are authorized to manage. Overlap handles the publishing integration; you do not need to supply API credentials.

## Connect X

1. Open **Accounts** and select **X**.
2. Choose **Connect**.
3. If X asks you to sign in, enter the credentials for the intended account.
4. Review the access request and choose **Authorize app**.
5. Return to Overlap and confirm the X account appears as **Connected**.

If your browser is already signed in to X, the authorization page may reuse that account without showing a login form.

## Connect a different X account

1. Open X in another browser tab and sign out.
2. Sign in to the account you want to connect.
3. Return to **Accounts → X** and choose **Connect** again.

You can also use a private browser window with only the intended X account signed in.
