# Managed cpm

Managed CPM accounts are fully run by Overlap. You link the accounts you want clips posted to, set a monthly cap, and Overlap's agent does the clipping, captioning, scheduling and posting. You are billed on views delivered at the CPM rate agreed with your Overlap contact — nothing is charged up front.

## Getting started

Your Overlap contact sends you a unique sign-up link. Opening it:

1. Creates your login (email, Google, Apple, or SSO).
2. Takes you straight into campaign setup. The platform opens once the campaign is launched.

The link is personal: the first account that uses it owns the workspace. If it has been forwarded or you see "already used", ask Overlap for a fresh link.

## Campaign setup

Setup is five short steps. Progress saves as you go, and **Save and finish later** signs you out with everything kept; signing back in returns you to the same step.

| Step                | What you do                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      |
| ------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Sources** | Paste YouTube channels, podcast feeds, or Dropbox / Google Drive / SharePoint folder links, or upload files. Each one shows **Syncing** while it saves, then **Listening** once it is on the list. Overlap keeps pulling new episodes from every listening source automatically. |
| **Accounts** | Connect Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X and more through the standard account-linking flow, then choose which linked accounts the campaign posts to. New accounts warm for two weeks before real volume. |
| **Budget** | Drag the slider to set a monthly cap and watch the most views it can buy at your CPM update beside it. The amount agreed with Overlap is marked on the track, and you can also type an exact figure. The agent stops at your cap. |
| **Guardrails** | Tell the agent what never to post — topics, phrases, or specific episodes. Borderline calls wait in your queue for 48 hours instead of going out. |
| **Review & launch** | See the first 30 days (warming → ramping → steady state) and the views and spend to expect, then launch. The campaign starts and you land on the Campaigns page. |

<Info>
  Instagram accounts must be business or creator accounts linked to a Facebook page. See [Linking your Socials](/essentials/linking).

### Creating another campaign

Organization admins can set up a further campaign from the profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar: **Create new campaign**, just above the **View as admin** toggle. It opens the same setup steps with everything blank except the card on file, which is shared across campaigns. Nothing is saved until you launch; **Back to campaigns** discards the pass. Launching creates a new campaign alongside the ones you already have and leaves them running as they are.

## Campaigns

**Campaigns** in the sidebar is one table, one row per campaign, for the date range you pick at the top right (this month by default). Each row shows the campaign's status, spend, CPM, views, posts, accounts, and average views per post; the totals row sums them. Spend is simply the views delivered in the range at your CPM — the same arithmetic as your invoice.

* **Active** toggles a campaign between serving and paused. Paused campaigns stay in the table, dimmed; flip the toggle again to resume. Tick several rows to pause or resume them together.
* The **⋮** menu at the end of each row has **Rename**, which changes the campaign's display name (nothing else — workflows, posts, and billing are unaffected), and **View posts**, which opens the Posts tab filtered to that campaign.
* **Serving / Warming up / Paused** — a campaign is warming up for its first two weeks while new accounts build reach.
* **CPM** is green when a campaign runs cheaper than your agreed rate and red when it runs dearer.
* **Export CSV** downloads every post published in the current range — one line per post with its campaign, destination, account, caption, views, likes, comments, shares, CPM, spend, and link.
* **New campaign** books a call with your Overlap contact: new campaigns are scoped together (sources, accounts, rate, cap) and launched for you.
* The **Posts** tab lists every post behind your campaigns for the range, 25 per page. The filter button (top right) narrows to one campaign or one account — a red dot on it means a filter is applied — and the sort button beside it orders by newest, oldest, most views, likes, shares, or highest/lowest spend. Open any post on its platform from the arrow at the end of the row.
* The **Accounts** tab shows every linked account, which campaigns use it, and its posts, views, and spend for the selected range. The sort button (top right) orders by platform, views, posts, or spend.

Destinations are named by format — **Reels**, **Shorts**, **TikTok**, **X** — throughout.

<Info>
  Views are the lifetime totals of the posts published in the range, refreshed as each platform reports, so today's figures keep rising for a few days — hence "Preliminary data".
